Rather surprisingly the Starling murmuration at Catterick was not there tonight. We could see large flocks in the distance but they seemed to be heading to somewhere further south down the AI.
On Tuesday evening the Egret roost at Bolton pond included at least 29 Little egrets and 1 Cattle but no sign of the Great Egret which has been seen there.

- Yesterday morning was very quiet on Feldom Ranges, 6 male black grouse, one male stonechat and a stoat running along the road.

- Croft on Tees this afternoon, Canny Well Wood area. Juvenile Honey Buzzard seen twice being harried by gulls and crows. Possibly the same bird seen in Wallsend on 4th and 5th of November.
