- Ringtail Hen Harrier seen well this morning hunting over a moor in the Dales. Another ringtail was seen perched and in flight on 24 October on the edge of Great Smeaton village - seen by a friend but he gave a good description.

- Tawny Owl perched on the Telegraph Pole outside the front door of the bungalow on your right as you leave Morton on swale. As i drove home from work 4.30 ish.
