80 PFGeese flying NW over Applegarth, Richmond early afternoon. Dipper pair busy nest-building, as well as Kingfisher. Grey Wagtail pair and Goosander also on the river. 3 very raucous Jays having a tiff whilst Mistle Thrush singing exquisitely in the background. Green Woodpecker - Whitecliff Woods.
No sign of Sand Martins at this location today but had two yesterday late afternoon at Bolton-on-Swale. Too cold and miserable today!
